THERE ARE 2 COURSES

The first is designed for older youth and adults. This is situated in the edge of the bush and is real challenge to all those who attempt it. There are 8 individual challenges from simple uneven posts to a wire bridge.

There is also a second course designed for the younger age group. This is just as challenging but with features of a size better suited and safer for the younger person.

The site is a sloping property extending from Paremoremo Rd to Lucas Creek.

With 25 Acres of Tranquil Native Bush there are plenty of quiet walks and places to stop and appreciate the environment.

There are tracks which surround the site. These extend from the main parade ground and the far end of the outdoor camping area down to Lucas Creek at the botom of the site.

There is available Flora Identification Trail activity for School and Youth Groups to complete and also an Orientaring Programme.

Set in the bush well below road level this is a quiet place, yet only a few minutes walk from either the Main Buildings or the Outdoor Camping Area.

If you sit quietly and patiently it is not uncommon for Tui's, Fantails and other Native birds to visit.
